Baking ribs in the oven is so easy. It takes a few hours, but apart from basting the ribs occasionally with BBQ sauce, it's pretty much hands-off. The ribs literally fall off the bones when done, and the BBQ sauce becomes nicely caramelized. Even the leftovers are great!

FACTS
- Medium spare ribs are usually 4.8 lbs & up per rack. Spare ribs are flatter in shape and contain more bone than meat making these ribs bigger than other pork ribs. The plus is that they contain more fat and have a better mix of meat and fat.
- Light ribs are just that—light in weight. “Light” spare ribs are around 3 lbs per rack. The meat to bone ratio will vary just like regular or “medium” spare ribs.
